An Introduction To:

• The care and maintenance of Motorcycles
• All aspects of Health and Safety
• Safe riding of the bikes and basic off-road skills, including quad-biking

The project is open during the normal hours of the Youth Centre:

• Mondays 7-9:30 pm for young people aged 13-19, cost £1
• Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7-10 pm, for 13-19 year olds, cost £1

In addition to the scheduled evening sessions, a full range of learning packages is available and can be adapted to suit a variety of needs. Prices on application.

For those under 18 years old who wish to take part in riding experiences, a Parental Consent form (attached) must be completed and placed on file by the Instructor before any riding can take place.

So what is Health and Safety?

  • Workshop rules and good manners.
  • PPE: Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Using tools safely, in the correct way, and choosing the right tool for the specific task.
  • The correct sequence of starting your motorbike.
  • And finally, safe riding of the bike/quad bike.
